May 17, 2008

TechTalkRadio is a live radio show broadcasting every Sunday 9am Pacific / 12pm Eastern on NewsTalk 790 KNST.

Hosting the show are Andy Taylor, Slick, Carol D’Andrea and Wally Knlaz.

Highlighting the Radio Show are Live Interviews with the Companies making the Headlines and the companies striving to make a mark in the large world of Technology. Reports range from start up software and hardware companies to established performers. We take a Consumer approach to the computer world and what it means to you. The radio show will  try to explain it in the easiest of terms for you whether you are a novice solitaire player or a seasoned computer over-clocker. If you want to play the intense graphically cutting edge games we’ll tell you what you should have in your systems to make it fly.  If you just want to get on the Internet and send e-mail, we’ll tell you about that as well. We report on the news of the week and the events of the day. We invite you to check back often.  ~TechTalkRadio.com

PodcampNYC2: Drew Olanoff

April 28, 2008

Saturday we had the pleasure to attend Drew Olanoff’s presentation “Bringing it all Together”. Drew started off his presentation with taking away all of our cellphones. With our undivided attention Drew discussed how not get sucked into the social networking blackhole. By allocating time in your schedule for these activities, eliminating useless applications, and finding the ones that work for you!

Recently I have been spending way to much time on sites like Twitter and Facebook. They are extremely useful for networking and spreading the word. But to be honest, if I am more productive during the day by limiting my time on these sites. I will get more done. Doing that people will give you less stress!
